Get in the Game Read!!

Join us for our Get in the Game Read summer reading program! We have an all star lineup of programs, story hours and more planned!  Our summer reading program is designed for children ages 3 to 11.  However, if you are unable to attend, you can sign up at either library. Signup begins on June 13 but you can sign up any time after that day as well! When you sign up for the program, you will be given a book log, bookmark and a pencil. Every visit to the library earns a sticker for your book log, 4 stickers entitles you to free pizza and pop at our summer ending party.

Championship Programs

Frisbee Fun Show:  August 8 at 5:30pm at Lion's Park in Minooka!  Flying Aces Pro Frisbee Team will bring us their spectacular stunt show! This will also be our pizza party!  A book log with 4 stickers gets you free admission, pizza and pop.  Admission is $1 for parents, other siblings and those without a booklog.

All Star Story Hours

Story times are geared toward children 3 to 7 years old but all are welcome.  During story time we read stories, sing songs, have a parade and complete a craft.

Story times will be held at 10:30am at the Minooka Branch and 1:30pm at the Main Library on the following dates:

July 30 "Go for the Gold!"

Lapsits

For the little slugger!  We will hold lapsit story times this summer for children ages 0 to 3. We sing songs, enjoy a story and explore with books. Lapsits will be held on the following Wednesdays at 10am at the Main Library:

July 30 and August 6.
