What's Happening in Your Community?
  • Adult and Junior High Summer Reading starts June 2 at the Three Rivers Public Library, you can sign up at either branch!
  • Minooka Village Yard Sales: June 5-7 throughout Minooka
  • Fishing Derby for those 12 and younger: June 7 from 8:30am to 10:30am at the I&M Canal Trail State Park on Canal Street in Channahon. Part of Illinois free fishing weekend (June 6-9), you can fish without a license. Bring your pole, bait and a container to put your catch in. There will be prizes throughout and no pre-registration is required.
  • Children's Summer Reading starts June 13 at the Three Rivers Public Library! You can sign up at either branch or at our Skateland program from 1pm to 3pm.

Beach Day Story Hours

Our last story hours of the season will be May 13 at 10am and 1pm and May 14 at 10am and 1pm all at the Main Library. The theme for our last story hours will be a beach party. Come in your favorite beach wear such as swimsuits, sunglasses and flip-flops. Weather permitting we will be outside.

  • Vidalia Onion Sale: May 2 Noon to 5pm, May 3, 9am to 5pm and May 4 10am to 5pm at the Minooka Ace Hardware sponsored by the Joliet Shrine Club.
  • Annual Flower and Plant Sale: May 2 from 4pm to 6pm and May 3 from 9am to Noon at the Minooka Community High School Greenhouse.
