What's Happening in Your Community?
  • Collection Drive: The Minooka Community High School Indian Athletic Leadership Club is sponsoring a paper and personal hygiene drive for We Care of Grundy County from now until April 25. Suggested donations include: toilet paper, deodorant, shampoo, soap, razors, shaving cream, toothpaste, toothbrushes, Q-tips, paper towels, napkins, tissues and paper plates. Donations may be taken to the MCHS Main Office. Call 815-467-2140 ext 101 for more information.
  • Spring Brunch: April 20 from 8am to Noon at the Minooka United Methodist Church. A chef will make omelets. Cost is $9 for adults, $5 for kids 4-10, free under 4. Call 815-467-2322 for more information.

Story Hour Location Changes

Due to the ongoing construction on Wabena Road in Minooka (which impacts access to the parking lot at our Branch), we are moving the story hours and lapsits to the Main Library from April 22 to May 14. Story hours are held at 10am and 1pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Lapsits are held at 10am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
